COLLECTORS Lot of 18 Vintage Straight Razors-In Rolled Leather Storage Holder

The following lot of Vintage Straight razors are an estate sale find of an avid collector. I have individually specified each one below.

Note almost all appear shave ready and sharp but many appear to need cleaning and polishing. Note almost all tangs have use scratches but I will note in describing if any have chips or cracks. All blades cut through paper except 18 keenkutter.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang Case Brothers Little Valley N Y. " The other side of the tang it is marked :TESTED XX". It has great scales in a light brown color light scratches no cracks. The razor is etched on the inside of the spine "RING LEADER" It is a 1/2" blade and 1/8" Spine. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "Germany"other side of tang marked "MAGNETIC STEEL 60" straight shaving razor has been lightly used. The Scales are a cool looking light brownish bone type and have no cracks or chips. It is a 9/16" blade and 3/16" Spine.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "Genco Lincoln Geneva NY USA" I don't know if the scales are bakelite or plastic there are no cracks and one small dimple near the lower pivot. Blade is in excellent condition. It is a 3/4" blade and 1/4" Spine. This Vintage razor is smarked on the tang "CRANE BRAND"other side of tang marked "KINFOLKS INCORPORATED" straight shaving razor has been lightly used. The Scales are etched CRANE BRAND and are a cool looking light brownish bakelite type and have no cracks or chips.

It is a 5/8" blade and 3/16" Spine. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang F. Ohligs Germany" other side of tang marked,'Kismet' The razor is etched "KISMET I don't know if the scales are black bakelite or plastic there are no cracks in them and blade is in excellent condition. I also think this has upper and lower JIMPS 6. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang THE ELECTRIC CUTLERY CO.

NEWARK NJ other side of tang marked,'TRADE ELECTRIC' The scales are carved celluloid there and look like tgere are tiny chips on the sides or it could be the design cannot tell. Blade is in VG condition.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "BEN HUR 105" other side of tang marked, BRANDT BROS. NEW YORK The scales are carved type plastic there are no cracks or chips in them and blade is in VG condition.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "WISS" The Razor is etched "BARBER'S IDEAL" The scales are black type plastic there are no cracks in them and blade is in VG condition. It is a 3/4" blade and 3/16" Spine.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang H. GERMANY 1926 The blade is etched THE KING but is barely legible. The scales are black type plastic there are no cracks or chips in thembut is user marked 247 near bottom pivot and blade is in VG condition.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "SHEFFIELD CUTLERY CO" This is a very robust razor. The scales are black type plastic there are no cracks and blade is in VG condition. Lower Jimps It is a 13/16" blade and 1/4" Spine.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "PUMA SOLINGEN 11" Other side of tang marked, "MADE IN GERMANY FROM BEST-PUMA STEEL" The scales are cream type plastic there are no cracks or chips is user marked 249 near bottom pivot and blade is in VG condition. Lower Jimps It is a 1/2" blade and 1/8" 12. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "WESTER BROS MANGANESE STEEL" Other side of tang marked, "WESTER BROS ANCHOR BRAND MADE IN GERMANY" The scales are cream type plastic there are no cracks and blade is in VG condition.

It is a 3/4" blade and 1/4" 13. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "HIPP'S SPECIAL" Other side of tang marked, HIPP & HARTKOPF 203 E, 28TH ST, N. MADE IN GERMANY The scales are yellow type plastic there are no cracks pr chips is user marked 249 near bottom pivot and blade is in Excellent condition. It is a 11/16" blade and 3/16" 14.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "KA-BAR" Other side of tang marked, Union Cutlery Co. " The scales are etched "KA-BAR 38 are cream type plastic there are no cracks 2 small chips inside edge and blade is in Excellent condition. It is a 3/4" blade and 3/16" 15. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "SILVER STEEL" Other side of tang marked, E.

This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "PRIOR" Other side of tang marked, "F, SSH MADE IN GERMANY " The scales are carved cream type plastic etched PRIOR there are no chips one barely visible hairline crack top of scale and blade is in VG condition. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang M-S MARY ST. SHEFFIELD" Side of blade is etched " EXTRA HOLLOW GROUND RAZOR The scales are marbled type plastic there are no cracks and blade is in Excellent condition. This Vintage razor is marked on the tang "KEENKUTTER K 44" Other side of tang is marked SIMMONS HDWE CO. Side of blade is etched "KEEN KUTTER" The scales are marbled type plastic there are no cracks and blade is in VG condition. All rubber bands are tight and both felts open complete.
