This is a complete collection of every HOT ROD magazine published. The first 6 magazines in 1948 are reprints and not originals, all others are originals an were collected as new and bound yearly. There are over 800 magazines in this collection. They are bound by half year (6 magazines) and by full year (12 magazines) depending on the year. The first two years are larger than the rest of the bindings, there are two different colors of bindings, most are turquoise. The 1948 - 2011 are bound and the 2011-Present are loose.

They were collected by R. Most of the magazines were sent to him as a subscriber.
