Jack Black Navajo Pottery Nativity Creche set is rare and hard to find. Jack Black passed away in 2002, and all of his molds were destroyed to prevent any new sculptures being made. It is extremely rare to find all 11 pieces of the nativity set. The pieces are signed and dated except for the Baby Jesus, donkey and lamb pieces.

The predominate colors are blue and tan, and the pieces have a smooth, matte surface. The 11 piece nativity set includes the following pieces. Hut 1988 - 6 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide. Baby Jesus No Mark 2.5 inches long.

Mary, kneeling lady 1987 4.5 inches tall. Joseph, holding towel 1987 7 inches tall. Shepherd with lamb 1993 4.75 inches tall. Shepherd with Crook 1993 6 inches tall. Standing Figure with pot - 1989 7.25 inches tall.

Kneeling Figure with pot 1989 5.75 inches tall. Sitting Figure with pot 1989 5.25 inches tall. Lamb No mark 1.25 inches tall, 2 inches long.

Donkey No mark 3.25 tall 6 long. Each piece is signed Jack Black with the date except for the donkey, lamb, and Baby Jesus. These pieces are clean and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or scratches. All pieces will be individually wrapped and boxed and carefully packed in a sturdy master box for safe arrival.
