They are all hand woven. They date somewhere in the early 1800's. Repairs Made and/or Needed: Yes, see pictures. They have not been washed. To keep the original texture hang dry. If you want them softer put them in the dryer. The more you wash them the softer they will get. Measurements in inches: One of them measured 53x20.
Some are bigger and some are smaller. I measured them as bags. If you undo the seams they will be twice that long. The all natural texture is just remarkable. They are heavy hemp linen. They are naturally mildew resistant and totally biodegradable. Use as pillowcases or as decoration.
You can use them for your craft projects. You name it, you just can't find nice rustic fabric like this! If you need a large quantity of these grain bags or several bolts of fabric please don't hesitate to message me so that I can list them for you. I have hundreds of bags and bolts of fabric sitting in my warehouse!
Large lots are less expensive of course! This is not a hobby or a part time job. This is how I feed my kids and pay my bills. I check everything at least three times before listing.
