United States Geological Survey - USGS. (Publication dates at least ten years and older). Offered for sale is a lot of more than five hundred used topographic maps of mostly color prints along with some indexes. These maps were working maps acquired from a closed branch of the government.

Most have publication dates over ten years old. Some maps may be marked up with oil, gas and/or mineral mine areas used by various exploration firms. Most of the maps are in pristine condition with many usable but having some folds and/or minor writing. A few may have tears or otherwise wrinkled with use. (These will be the most valuable).

This set is an invaluable reference resource for oil and mineral mining operations, educational and historical references for individuals, libraries and institutions. Most of these maps measure approximately two by four feet in dimensions plus dozens of smaller maps. Also included free of charge.
