Offered for sale is a Near-Mint Condition COLLECTION OF(10) 16 1/2" x 23" POSTERS that comprised the. FIRST EDITION of "ALFONS MUCHA - PLAKATY, " published by CTK-Pressfoto in Prague, and printed by Tisk Severografia Cerveny Kostelic. These are reproductions that were created as offset lithographs between 1970 - 1989. 8 of the lithographs are inside the 16.5" x 23" folder (2 are on one of the posters - See below). 2 of the posters make up the Front Cover "La Fleur" (the Flower).

And the Back Cover "Le Primevere" (Primula). The back cover has a fold-over with brief biographical information about Alfons Mucha in Czech, Russian, German, English & French. Included within the folder is a full page (printed on the same high quality paper as the posters), providing more detailed information about Mucha and his "Posters and Panels, " in the same 5 languages as above. All of the posters included in this collection were originally painted by Mocha in Paris except the "MORAVIAN TEACHERS' CHOIR, " which shows a girl in the traditional Moravian Folk Dress, cupping her hand to her ear to better hear the singing bird. The Moravian Teachers' Choir was a world-renown professional vocal ensemble at the time this was painted - Prague, 1911. The image size of this piece is 15" x 21". The image size of "LA TOPAZE" (Topaz) is 8.75 x 22. The image size of "LE RUBIS" (Ruby) measures 8.625" x 22". The image size of "L'ETE" (Summer) measures 9.25 x 22. The paired works (counted as 2 lithographs) named "EVEIL DU MATIN" (Awakening in the Morning) and "ECLAT DU JOUR" (Day-Break) are shown on a single poster, both with image sizes 7" x 19.5" Paris - 1899. The image size of "LES FRUITS" (Fruits) measures 12.75" x 21.375". The image size of "LE ZODIAQUE" (Zodiac) measures 15" x 20.75". The image size of "LA FLEUR" (Flower), Front Cover - measures 20" x 12".
