For your consideration, this is my Dads collection of Schluter Helicopters and related accessories. My Dad passed on not too long ago and these were his pride and joy. He was a master model builder so you can rest assured they were built correctly.
1 Schlutre Heliboy with German made HB 61 PDP Engine #6300. Also included are Futaba electronics and gyro you see in the photos. The Canopies have some storage damage but are still very usable. Two sets of original main rotor blades. This Bird was never flown but was run on the included training stand on 2 occasions, and never crashed. All parts you see are included.
2 Schlutre Magic with Webra 61 Engine. New canopy in the box.
One set of original rotor blades. This Bird has never been flown, never even had fuel in the tank. Never run, never flown, never crashed. 3 Schlutre Heliboy and Magic construction documents.
This is all instructions, and large-scale diagrams of parts, and part numbers. Also included is notebook with handwritten notes and vintage catalogs. This is a sturdy aluminum stand that keeps the Helicopter more or less upright while you learn what youre doing. Really cuts down on chopper blade replacements. This has some corrosion from storage but with some cleanup will still work fine.
As you can see in the photos the Magic is missing 3 servos, and the HeliBoy is missing 2. I dont know why that is. But, because you're an RC enthusiast you probably have your own you plan to use anyway. If not, you can always rework the ones you see here into whatever bird you intend to fly first.
PLEASE NOTE - Transmitter and receiver are not included. As noted both Helicopters are expertly built and I can see no missing parts. I would rate The HeliBoy as an 87 out of 100 due to its age and accumulation of dust, and discoloration of some plastic parts.
The Magic I would rate 97 out of 100, only because of the fading of the red anodization, again age has taken its toll. Both Helicopters have been sitting in my Dads shop for some years untouched, I have not tried to run the engines or even turn them over.
You will need to do a thorough cleaning of the engines, and other moving parts and check for lubrication. Finally, the usual legal Mumbo-Jumbo.
You will not find a better collection of vintage Schluter Helicopters without going to Germany or the UK. The item "Collection of Schluter Helicopters" is in sale since Friday, August 17, 2018.
