LOVERIN & BROWNE ANTIQUE TIN PLUS SMALL SPICE TIN Here is a wonderful old antique tin from the late 1800's, along with an equally old small spice tin. The larger tin was made by a company named CANCO for LOVERINE & BROWNE CO.

WHOLESALE GROCERS OUT OF CHICAGO. The large tin stands 8 1/2" tall and the smaller on, 2 3/4" high. You can find the shorter Loverin & Browne Tins once in awhile, but this larger one is very rare. The tin itself is an embossed metal tin with a filigree finish.

The tin is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION. This is over 120 years old!

These were used by these folks in Chicago and most often could contain anything from coffee, tea or other such staples.
