Offered is One Marvel Comics Lot of 21 Books. Fantastic Four #s 31 & 33; Sgt. Fury #s 28 & 49; Daredevil #s 27, 40, 46, 47, & 85; Thor #s 141 & 153. Strange Tales #161; Marvel Super-Heroes #14; Avengers #s 59, 72, 88, 95, & 98; Iron Man #31. Captain America #120; & Amazing Adventures #5.

Many of these books feature 1st appearances of several important characters in the Marvel Universe as well as a few notable contributions from talented writers & artists such as Harlan Ellison & Neal Adams. Key issues included in this lot are as follows. Fantastic Four #31 (Oct 1964).

Fantastic Four #33 (Dec 1964). Strange Tales #161 (Oct 1967). 1st appearance of Silver-Age Yellow Claw. Marvel Super-Heroes #14 (May 1968).

Reprints 1st Jack Kirby art at Marvel. 1st appearance of Yellow Jacket.

Captain America #120 (Dec 1969). 1st appearance of the Zodiac. Iron Man #31 (Nov 1970). 1st appearance of Kevin O'brien. Amazing Adventures #5 Mar 1971.

These copies range in grade from Good at least to FN/VF at best and maintain an average grade of approximately FN- or FINE. Older issues (pre'68) naturally show greater amounts of wear compared to the others. The vast majority of issues grade above VG/FN. Overall, this is a very nice collection of books.

All issues are complete & intact. Comic book grading is often subject to disagreement. Consequently, I normally offer a range. I have done my best to grade these books accurately & fairly (basing my grades off of the industry standards), but it is possible that many of them could grade differently viewed from an alternate perspective - whether above or below these estimations.
