My family stayed at Mantles Holiday Inn in Joplin MO in the summer of 1961. We bought the bobble head, pennant, and postcard at the hotel.

I scanned a picture of my sister and I standing in front of the hotel. This is the original square base design with the likeness of Mickey. As you can see from the pictures the body and face are very nice condition. There was some restoration (well done) on the lower sides of the head, both left and right, and touch up of the back of the hat (the blue color on back of the hat is not a perfect match). The doll shows well and the bobble works fine.

The body and base are in original condition. You will also get Mantle's Holiday Inn Pennant (13) Bright red with white lettering, would look wonderful framed. Very few of these pennants exist in this condition. And a post card from Mantle's hotel showing the marquee and room. The post card does have some discoloration from paste on the back - see scan. You can clearly read the print on back. Im also including a Mickey Mantle VHS Tape - The American Dream Comes To Life - Mickeys only authorized video biography, done in 1990 with live interview of the Mick. Mickey died in 1995 at age 63.
