This is an amazing collectible Peterson Sherlock Holmes Collection Seven Day set! All are smooth finish, all are P-lip, all are XL, and all come with original boxes and literature that accompanied the pipe!

What is also amazing is that all but two of the pipes are unsmoked! The two pipes that were smoked, were smoked very little, possibly 1-2 bowls, and are in very good shape. The rack is in like new condition as well. I have MANY more pictures, all you have to do it ask and I will send them all. All of these pipes were professional cleaned and polished and the smoked pipes were sanitized and fully restored to like new condition.

Our cleaning and polishing process is extensive, and all of these pipes are ready to enjoy! This is probably the most famous and most successful series of pipes ever made by this famous pipe maker! They were introduced in 1987 to honor the great detective with the pipe names taken from the Sherlock Holmes stories. The "Original Collection" was released as a seven day set, and included a specially made rack with the pipe names underneath the individual pipe "cubbies". There were different styles of racks made over the years.

The pipes were made of select briar and were available in carved and smooth versions. Other finishes followed such as Meershaum, Ebony and Sandblasted. All pipes were XL bowls, came with a hallmarked Sterling Silver band with the profile of Sherlock Holmes, and were available with either a P-Lip or Fishtail mouthpiece. This set contains all P-Lip stems.
