Each of these extraordinary petite champagne shaped glasses is intricately hand sculpted using the most difficult of glass techniques requiring an intense skill set to create this rarest of decorations which involves multiple annealing operations in the glass furnaces. It is this type of fantastical craftsmanship, attention to detail, amazing application, layering and cutting back of the regal French blue (cobalt) color as well as the astonishing gold gilding that gave Val St. Lambert of Liege, Belgium the reputation that rivaled the French glass houses at St.

A large full set of 12, such as this, that has survived the tests of time, not only intact but also in such sensational condition is a rare treat and nearly an impossibility to obtain. Each of these 4&1/2 inch tall cocktail glasses is masterfully executed with flawless cutting to the shimmering crystal and gorgeous frosted finishing, the impeccable application and cutting of the blue crystal layers along with the multitude of gold gilding throughout the scenes, the drink rims, mid points and base edges makes the 4 various scenes depicting cherubs with a harp, a tambourine, bird ducks and flowers, all with each cherub in a wooded landscape, much more than just decorative glassware as they display an artistry in glass making that has long ago been lost and today transforms these sensational Beaudoin masterpieces into irreplaceable works of art glass!
