Located in Hickory NC, Century has state-of-the-art facilities where all aspects of wood-working and finishing, and upholstering, are carried out. Raymond K, Sobota was exclusively associated with Century Furniture from 1950 to 1995. He designed all of Century Furniture's major wood collections (more than 150 collections) and is credited with helping Century Furniture become the high-end furniture design company it is today. On retirement, Century Furniture presented Mr. Sobota with a collection of his favorite pieces culled from his collections and they were called collectively "The Sobota Collection". Armoire: 4 drawers and 6 cubicles (removable) behind 2 top doors. Asian-style brass door and drawer pulls.

Ming-style legs with carving along bottom. Bureau: 9 drawers w/3 drawers behind 2 central doors. Nightstands (each): 1 top drawer and 2 doors behind which is a open storage space. Armoire: 39.5" W x 18" D x 60 H.

Bureau: 76" W x 18" D x 30.5 H. Mirror: 31.75" W x 45" H (highest point).

Nightstand (each): 24.5" W x 18" D x 24.75 H. Armoire: Very good used condition w/few age-related superficial scratches/wear. No water stain(s) on top of piece. Notes: i piece of veneer missing from the back of one of the sides (see picture) and ii one of the legs is discolored (see picture). Bureau: Very good used condition w/few age-related superficial scratches/wear.

Mirror: Very good used condition w/few if any superficial scratches/wear. Nightstand (A): Very good used condition w/few superficial scratches/wear. Note; a piece of veneer is missing from the top (see picture).

Nightstand (B): Very good used condition w/few superficial scratches/wear. Note: a wood brace is missing from the back corner (see picture).
