Vintage Porcelain Dragon Ware Moriage Satsuma Tea Set/ Teapots Lithopane Geisha 22 Pieces. We don't know exactly the age, but this set is in very nice pre-owned and vintage condition with some discoloration or scratching on paint and gold trim, including uneven small brush strokes of paint and irregularities within the design. There is some chipping on couple cups and one plate (see pic #12) and, a tiny crazing(not very noticeable) and flaw on bottom of the bigger tea pot (see pic # 11). Every piece was hand made individually -They are beautiful but you can tell there are some flaws - Pieces are not identical - Couple of plates are a little malformed or misshapen - Also some of them have some small patches on the bottom (not very noticeable), in different color than original, not sure if this is a sign of restoration or maker's flaw. Some moriage beads are gone , specially the ones on plates by men's necks.

There is a beautiful geisha lithophane on the bottom of tea cups. There are not marks or stamps on bottoms.

We are not the original owners, we actually found this set along with more treasures in a storage unit that we bought 3 years ago in Orange County, Ca. All I now is that this belonged to an 80 some old lady who used to travel all over the world. Set includes 22 pieces including lids for tea pots.
