Rare WWII PARATROOPER GROUPING of ROBERT RUPPE -187. Painted Airborne B4-Bag + both Ike Jacket & Uniform shirt, the Shirt having all Matched & Cross-Stitched Insignia to include 2 each - 187th Airborne PIR bullion & silk embroidered shoulder patches, 2 each - Parachute wing Ovals.

Gold - bullion hand-embroidered on black wool with 2 each- pinback sterling Parachutist wings , 2 each - 11th Airborne Div bullion embroidered on blue silk shoulder patches on OD wool and 2 pr wool Tech-5 sleeve rank stripes; Ike jacket further retains Ruppe's Infantry collar brass, CIB, ribbon bar, zipper-entry and s/n R0140 ; June 1944 dated Quartermaster label remains in pocket; Fantastic Painted B4-bag with working zippers is all Hand-Painted to include 11th Abn Patches, Para & Glider patches, Large Silver Jump Wings & large 187th Skull insignia superimposed over jump wings; (Ruppe was from Sterling, Illinois).
